Q: Who owns copyright to the photos?
S&B Photography own copyright to all images, all rights reserved. We do not sell, assign or transfer copyright. When a digital image order is placed, un-watermarked images are licensed for Personal or Business Use to named clients. License is non-transferable.
Q: I've sent a message, when should I expect a reply?
We aim to reply within 2-5 working days. If you haven't received a reply within this time, please contact us again as your message has been delayed or failed to reach us. For a faster response, please call the studio directly, - 24hr answerphone available. Please be advised that due to the nature of our service, availability & office hours vary.
N.B. Due to a high volume of enquiries during festive season & promotions, response time may be longer - we appreciate your patients & understanding. We're a small, appointment based partnership & do not have a call centre. We are only able to return your calls when a message is left stating contact telephone no.
Q: Can I see a price list?
We offer a range of products to suit all styles & budgets! To keep our prices competitive, a full price list is only available to registered clients however, please see home page for product & price guide.
Q: Do you sell gift vouchers?
Gift vouchers are available from £10. If you'd like to order, please contact us to arrange a studio visit by advance appointment. Telephone orders also welcome & online orders accepted via our secure check-out.
Q: I've registered but can't log in, what should I do?
Our simple account platform is end-user controlled for your convenience. If you've forgotten your password, please click 'Log in' & follow prompts to reset by clicking 'Forgot Password'. N.B. Your browser may remember incorrect details if you've previously attempted to log-in without success; please delete auto fill content & manually enter details.
Q: What is a 'Gallery ID'?
This is a gallery name - it is usually assigned upon order & chosen by the client but on some occasions, it's provided by us e.g. Parties, events etc. You will need it to locate a gallery via Find Gallery link (top right menu) - free registration required.
Q: I've ordered an online gallery, how do I find it?
Galleries are usually activated within 5 working days.
Register for free at our website >> Log in >> Find Gallery >> Gallery ID in search box.
Gallery ID is assigned at time of order & usually chosen by the client. In some cases, it may be provided by us e.g. Parties, events, commercial etc.
IMPORTANT: If you've used the gallery ID as your account password, please change your password in My Account section.
Tip: To share a gallery with others, provide them with the Gallery ID & ask them to follow the simple steps above to view.
Can we bring pets to a family photo shoot?
All pets are welcome, subject to size & nature. Please ensure someone is available to look after your pet whilst you continue with the studio booking - we do not advise leaving pets unattended in cars. If your pet is crate trained, please bring this along. You may also wish to bring bottled water & bowl & any other items e.g. toys, treats etc.that will make your pet feel at ease. Pets must not be left unattended or loose on site.
Please be aware that all pets react differently to studio surroundings - if your pet finds it difficult to adapt & shows signs of anxiety, it will be to necessary to end the photo shoot. Time & patients may be required however, we will not put your pet through unnecessary stress.
How long do you keep the photos?
We aim to keep photo's from every booking indefinitely & clients are welcome back to view at any time, by appointment. Online viewing is also available to order (small service charge applies).
How long is the photo shoot?
Duration varies depending on number & ages of people taking part. We allocate up to 1 hour per booking.
When do we pay?
Booking fee: Payable on arrival (upon booking for commercial clients). Orders: Full payment is required upon order.
When will the photos be ready to view?
A studio preview will be arranged with you on the day by advance appointment; usually within 5 working days post shoot, subject to availability. Same / next service may be possible by prior arrangement, please contact us to discuss - there would be an additional charge for this service.
What should we wear?
Please wear something you feel comfortable in - there's no strict dress code however, it can be quite an active shoot (subject to client willingness & ability) therefore, sensible footwear is advised. Outfit changes welcome. Please avoid light / skin tone lip colour & white clothing (incl. socks!) as this can be troublesome in the editing process. We request removal of shoes but this is not a requirement so please say if you'd prefer to keep shoes on.
